Our History.
I am a nurse by profession and, by nature, have always been a perfectionist.
I grew up watching my parents dedicate their lives to the footwear industry. I learned from them the value of a job well done, honesty, and dedication.
I am demanding. Very demanding. Especially when it comes to what I wear on my feet.
That's why I decided to create my own brand.
I wanted to design the kind of footwear I look for but rarely find: timeless, comfortable, elegant, and made to last.
Because when something is truly well made, you feel it even before it's explained.
THE NAME
Why Trotie?
Trotie comes from our dog.
But also from that unforgettable first date when Lucas and I met... on a scooter.
When we were looking for names for the brand, I looked at her and realized that perhaps the perfect name was already right in front of me.
Trotie is all about that: lightness, history, and paths built together.
